Swaged Rectangular Aluminum Grating
Dimensions
Cross bars are fully locked within the bearing bars, slightly below the top surface. It has clean and crisp lines. With nearly 80% open area, it is commonly used in public areas and is the industry accepted standard for industrial applications. If anti-slip is required, swaged rectangular aluminum gratings with a serrated surface are available upon request.
Specification
- Bearing bar size: 1" x 1/8" to 2–1/2" x 3/16" with 1/4" increments;
- Bearing bar spacing (center-to-center): 1–3/16", 15/16", 11/16" and 7/16";
- Cross bar spacing (center-to-center): 4" or 2".

Application
Because of its light weight, corrosion resistance, and non-sparking, Aluminum gratings are widely used in indoor ceilings, outdoor curtain walls and other decorative applications due to its lightweight, excellent corrosion resistance and non-sparking properties. It is suitable for industrial applications where the strength-to-weight ratio is important, such as wastewater treatment plants. It is mainly used for safety protection and served as walkways, floors, platforms, stair treads, fences, etc.

Material: Q235 in line with GB/T700 steel
Bearing bar shape: plain (may be omitted in symbol of steel grating), serrated and I-shape type
Surface treatments: hot-dipped galvanizing, painting or other anti-corrosive coatings
Product Tolerance
Allowed deviation of length ±5mm, while allowed deviation of width ±5mm
Non-perpendicularity of bearing bar allowed no >10% of width of bearing bar
Cross bar surface should not surpass bearing bar surface 1mm, beginning and end of cross bar should not surpass end surfaces of two sides of grating 2mm
Stair ladder, compound steel grating, drainage pit/trench cover and railing/stanchion are also available
Customized requirements are accepted
